Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings were doable but we got the tips of our boots wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Thanks to the gentleman out on Fletcher's Brook working on water drainage. There were a fair amount of the tops of pine trees down on the Drake's Brook trail that must have been from a recent storm.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Our dog Benny had a great time and met 4 other dogs out for the day. You will need to bring water for the Sandwich Mountain Trail for the pups.
Bugs
Bugs: Only a few flying around. No one biting yet.

Comments
Comments: Trail was dry until we started to get closer to the junction of Sandwich Mountain and Drake's brook. Then we hit patches of snow and ice all the way to the top of Jennings. We barebooted it but postholed a few times on the way down as it warmed up. One gentleman we saw reports that he gave up on getting to Sandwich dome itself as he hit almost knee high snow around the Smart's Brook Trail junction. We enjoy Jenning's Peak as a great view with not as many people. We also hit Fletcher's Cascades on our way down and enjoyed the small amount of ice still at the top.
