Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Very few and easy rock hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blow downs on the Stanton Trail, looks like they've been there awhile. Langdon trail looked great! Nice water bars! Cave Mtn Spur easy to follow.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No water on Stanton until the shelter. Otherwise these trails would be fine for doggies.
Bugs
Bugs: Yes. And one tick scurrying up my leg when I got into the car. Yuck.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a ginger snap cookie. The inner thru hiker in me said "eat it" but alas I let it be.

Comments
Comments: Stanton trail has many great view spots though we barely saw anything with the thick fog this morning. We ditched our original plan to head up to Parker and Resolution since the low cloud deck hadn't budged by the time we reached he shelter. This trail is a great workout with all the PUDs. By the time we reached the Cave Mtn spur the sun was shining bright. Go figure. Cave Mtn is a cool spot with a nice ledge above the cave. Very slippery and steep leaf covered trail but fun. All in all a great little hike, thanks Denise and Kyle!
