Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: all rock hoppable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: several blowdowns which were easy to bypass. some sections of these trails need some work as they were a bit difficult to follow in some points...specifically old paugus trail from big rock cave trail to bee line cutoff. please take note that the trail description says to swing right at the top of the gully, but i would say swing right half way up the gully. we went to the top (climbing some difficult rocks and then many blowdowns) and we had to backtrack to find the trail. someone had built a small cairn at the spot where you need to turn. also parts of the cabin trail from the lawrence trail down to parking were a bit difficult to follow due to an abundance of leaves on the trail and an overgrown corridor. but all in all a very fun hike!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: none
Bugs
Bugs: none!! it was too cold and windy for them.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: there is a red dog leash hanging on the trailhead sign

Comments
Comments: Big Rock Cave was a great spot (too bad someone left a fire ring there). Be careful on Old Paugus trail from Big Rock Cave trail to Bee Line cutoff - see above.
