Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape (very dry, even the sections that are often wet/muddy).

Some specific notes, though:

1. Small blowdown (3-4 inches in diameter) on Holt Trail about 50 yards west of Croo Bridge); and

2. Holt-Clark Cutoff and Clark Trail prior to first set of ledges: recent heavy rains have clogged some drainages with leaves/leaf litter.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Not an issue -- the few we encountered were blown away by the stiff breeze, especially on the summit.

Comments
Comments: The AMC has replaced almost all of the signage on the trails on the eastern side of Cardigan with new, standardized signage that matches the look/feel of other AMC signage.

Trails on the eastern side -- blazed in yellow -- have fresh blazes, as well.
