|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Maintenance crew on upper Slippery Brook trail. Some downed trees on lower. Hard to distinguish if the fallen logs were downed trees or deliberately placed in front of a path so we would go on a reroute. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of dogs today. Might consider not taking the dogs up the ledges. |
|
| Bugs: |
Some but a fierce wind kept them in check (and blew us around too). |

| Comments: |
Great hike. Very windy. Upper Slippery Brook trail is beautiful. The lower part as we descended was muddy and confusing (old roads/paths jutting out from it)but well blazed and we make it to the junction of Circle trail no problem. |
