Water Crossing Notes: A few on Slippery Brook trail, easily crossed.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Maintenance crew on upper Slippery Brook trail. Some downed trees on lower. Hard to distinguish if the fallen logs were downed trees or deliberately placed in front of a path so we would go on a reroute.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of dogs today. Might consider not taking the dogs up the ledges.

Comments
Comments: Great hike. Very windy. Upper Slippery Brook trail is beautiful. The lower part as we descended was muddy and confusing (old roads/paths jutting out from it)but well blazed and we make it to the junction of Circle trail no problem.
