Mountain Road parking lot had just 3 cars when we arrived and 1 other when we returned. There is room for a dozen or so. There are two piles of broken auto glass in the lot. Do not leave anything of value visible in your car for sure. |

A couple of small stepover crossings. |

Trails in good condition. The sign that used to be at the junction where you can go back to the new parking lot on Mountain Road or take the old trail back to the road itself is missing from its post. |

Not many bugs. There were a few mosquitoes as it got towards early evening. I did not use DEET, just wore my insect repellent clothing and I was ok. |

Nice lollipop loop over North Pack via Wapack and back to the summit on the Cliff Trail. Thanks to Sean for a nice hike. |
