A couple of recent duck unders on High Ridge, no other blowdowns of note. A bit muddy in spots on Faraway Mountain Trail. |

Not bothersome, winds kept them away for the most part, except when stopped. |

A great hike to Roberts and Faraway yesterday. Superb views from the ledges on Mt. Roberts Trail and the summit itself, lack of views from Faraway (unless you consider two spindly towers and a meadow to be views), and nice walking on High Ridge and the descent trails. Cones in the Clouds was open when we got down, so we got some well deserved ice cream. Great day! |
