Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The steep ledges right below the alpine zone on northern part of baldface may be a challenge (a fairly serious scramble)- met one canine right below the ledges coming down that had had enough... Water down low on both trails but dry up top so pack a little for the canines.

Comments
Comments: Another great day on the trails - Up baldface circle to eagle crag and down bicknell ridge. Charles brook was reasonably low and easily crossed using a rock or two just under the water - usual mud along the northern side of baldface circle trail. A bit of water on the first steep scramble right below the alpine zone but nothing to slow you down; a bit of mud on bicknell ridge. Many out today most doing the baldface loop. Met a nice couple coming down north side of baldface circle while we were heading up that said "this trail isn't for wussies!" -understandable given the steep ledge scrambles! Great views up top; a place more should venture to.
