Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings all rock hoppable..this word will be in the dictionary soon :) A couple were a little tricky. Love trekking poles.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All you can say is that these trails need a lot of love especially the Unknown Pond trail coming down from the Pond. Significant mud, overgrown in places, need strategic water bars, bog bridges, encountered blow downs that can be stepped over. Becoming somewhat of a 'wild' trail in spots :)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Not one dog today
Bugs
Bugs: Oh yeah...Don't stand still for too long. Can't wait for Winter when the bugs pester you.

Comments
Comments: Cabot, Bulge & Horn loop today. Cool & wet conditions for most part early but warming as expected. Lots of mud as it is still early in the summer season. Wildflowers in full bloom. A great day in the Kilkenny Region way up Nawth.
