Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One in particular is crossed by a derelict wooden bridge- use care, as I broke one of the planks when I stepped on it.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Bennington Trail has seen better days. I don't think it's even maintained anymore. It is blazed, but the blazes are faint in many spots, and the overgrowth sometimes hides them. Shannon's Trail was in excellent shape and well-blazed.

Comments
Comments: Wanted to check on the Bennington Trail, since last time I went here, the area just became protected by a state conservation easement, and I thought that the trail might have been fixed up a bit. Not the case. Was a good physical and decent navigational challenge nonetheless. Good views and ledgy goodness on the upper part of Shannon's Trail and the picnic table ledge.
