Comments
Comments: Mary and I started the bushwhack just southeast of the Kancamagus Pass parking area just under 2800 ft. With map & compass along with my garmin we set off at 158 degrees to the cal just west of Mount Kancamagus. This section we climbed through a few thick patches but really wasn’t to bad. We we hit the cal and the plan was to go at 105 degrees right toward the summit but that would have brought use through some thick and nasty stuff so we skirted to the north side of the cal for a few hundred yards or so bypassing that area. Things opened up and we found a few heard paths with easy walking towards the summit. Reading a previous trip report about a missing register we brought up a new one to the canister. We basically retraced our path back to the car. Nice bushwhack!
