Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Thank God and whoever flagged every single water crossing. I might have lost hope save for the flags at the crossings that let me know I was still on the trail. Thank you again.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Mt. Clinton Trail is in very bad condition. This may be intentional. Sign at Dry River Cutoff is missing. Very wet near the top. Overgrown. Many blow-downs made finding the trail difficult. Dry River Trail South of Mt. Clinton Tr junction was fine.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: A dog may fare better than his/her master on these rough trails.
Bugs
Bugs: There may have been bugs.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost: Cheap sunglasses. (On Mt. Clinton trail either just above or just below the Dry River Cutoff.)

Comments
Comments: Mt. Clinton Trail is in rough shape. Unmarked, unmaintained, and unused! Very difficult going. Hard to find the trail. Many chancy water crossings; especially the last @ Dry River. Only a cool head and dead reckoning (and those flags!) allowed me to pass through this rough trail unscathed. Very experienced hikers only on this trail.

Dry River Trail south of the Mt. Clinton Tr junction was in great shape. And it's got a bridge!
