|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Small crossing as you enter the dry river wilderness but easily rock hoppable |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
2-3 step overs on the Mt. Langdon trail.
To many to count on the Mt. Parker trail but all were easily passable.
Faint yellow blazes on this trail could use some fresh paint. The Mt. Parker trail is in great shape and fairly flat if you choose to run it. It's nearly perfect for that. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Didn't see any dogs today but it's a good trail for dogs. There is no water once you get up on the ridge. |
|
| Bugs: |
Black flies were bitting today if you stand still to long |

| Comments: |
From the trailhead I ran up the logging road getting scratched by every raspberry bush I passed for about a half mile so watch out. From there it turns I to a regular trail never to steep all the way to Mt. Parker. My run from Parker to Mt. Resolution was one of the best places I've found to run yet. This trail is mostly free of storm damage and easily to walk/run as it turns from hardwoods to spruce forest to soft Mossy trail with some fun small fun rock obsticals. Once at the summit I dropped my pack and continued down to the junction to finish my red line. A bite to eat then continued my run back to the trailhead. I really enjoyed this section of the wilderness with great veiws from These 52WAV peaks. |
