Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Trail is well maintained and clear. Perhaps some consolidation of the trail near The South Ridge Tr jct should be done. Over all it is about 15 feet wide heading up the hill.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of people and dogs. A leash made things much easier at the summit.
Bugs
Bugs: A few deer flies before the sun set.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found a pair of Foster Grand sunglasses with an arm missing. I left them on a cairn for a about two hours then brought them down on my descent.

Comments
Comments: We hiked up starting just after 7pm. Our goal was to watch the fireworks from the summit. Unfortunately two dozen other people had the same idea. There was plenty of room at the summit and fireworks could be seen from all around. The walk down was easy with a headlamp.
