Comments
Comments: Mary, Rudy and I set off on the Garfield Trail to Mt Garfield 4500’. We then followed the Garfield Ridge Trail to our 1st bushwhack of West Garfield 3667’. It was a little tough going for Rudy at times with lots of blowdowns and some thick stuff. Soon enough we found the summit jar and signed in and was back on GRT. East Garfield bushwhack was quick and easy with some great ledge views. We signed in at the register, made our way back to the GRT, picked up Gale River Trail and then a fire road #92 walk back to our car. Nice hike bagging one of NH 4000 footers, two of NH 100 Highest, 14 mikes and 4000’ of elevation gain on the day.
