AMC group spent 4 weeks and did a nice job. Forest Service is in now for I believe 7 weeks. A number of muddy spots causing the trail to be expanded and bush whacks to form will hopefully be addressed |

| Comments: |
The AMC trail crew fixed the problematic rock at about 2.5 miles in. This is the one that you had to climb a sketchy root and hang over the drop off. New path has rock steps onto the rock and a nice flat exit on the other side. Conditions were not as hot as predicted and a nice breeze blew. Great day out. |
