Comments
Comments: We followed along side of a brook until the logging road went away. We crossed the brook heading towards Long Mountain Pond on and off some old logging roads. At 2250 feet we jumped off the logging road and started the real bushwhacking to the summit of West Long. This was the slowest going of the day. We then took off to the outlet of the pond picking up herd paths here and there moving right along to the summit of Middle Long. We then headed north towards Little Bog Pond and after a mile or so we picked up an old trails that brought us down just below a red camp and a gate at the junction of Trio Pond Road and Phillips Brook Road. With a short road walk back to the car. Great loop bushwhack with nothing to scrappy or steep. Hiked this with Mary, Lisa
