Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple of large blowdowns that require ducking under. Will require chainsaw to remove. New puncheons and trail-shoring work in muddy spots near Wachipauka Pond.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Negligible water until you reach the pond, so carry extra.  
Bugs
Bugs: A few deer flies, but overall there were surprisingly few bugs.  
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Tuckerman found a trail maintenance crew member's work glove.  
 
Comments
Comments: Nice hike on a steamy day. About 25 yards past the summit sign on Webster Slide Mountain is a beautiful campsite/overlook with a grew view of Wachipauka Pond and Carr Mountain beyond. Several nice camping spots along the western shore of the pond. The Wachipauka Pond Trail is a segment of the AT; we met one southbounder who said he was sad to be leaving the White Mountains.
