After several combined attempts over the last couple of years, we finally found the elusive Pumpelly Cave, a legendary piece of Mt. Monadnock folklore. It certainly is very well hidden! Very cool to see it, and we stayed a while and had lunch there. From the cave, we bushwhacked to some great open ledges before getting back on trail and heading out. |
