| Comments: |
The three H's. Hazy, Hot, Humid. All day. Probably lost a few pounds because of how much I sweated. The two summits normally have excellent views, but it was so hazy that I could only see maybe 10-15 miles. Fortunately, the ridge walk was very nice and leisurely. Hot and sticky, but a nice day nonetheless.
Mount Shaw was #22 on the New England 50 Finest list, and my last NH peak on said list. This was also my first time hiking in the Ossipee Mountains. Onward to VT and ME! 7.6 mi roundtrip, 2,300 ft. gain.
I have posted the link to the video recap, if you're interested... |
