Comments
Comments: Great day hiking some of the lighter used trails in the Wild River Wilderness. Wild River Trail is in great shape. Highwater Trail between Black Angel and Moriah Brook is narrow in spots but easy to follow. The Moriah Brook Trail is in good shape and has had recent work done to it and is clear and easy to follow, there are still some muddy spots below the final climb but nothing too bad. Carter-Moriah trail in fine shape. Kenduskeag Trail down to Rattle River Trail has some muddy sections but overall in decent shape. Kenduskeag over to Shelburne Trail is overgrown and muddy in spots, make sure to stay on the bog bridges on the way up to the summit or you will sink in very deep mud, trail is easy to follow even in the overgrown sections. Shelburne Trail in great shape for a Wilderness Trail. Highwater Trail between Shelburne and Moriah Brook Trail is in ok shape, it passes by some washouts into the Wild River where the trail has been relocated for a few feet.

Thanks Whitney and Denise for another adventurous day on some fun and remote trails. Congrats Whitney on reach 55% with your redlining :)
