Let Google Earth be your friend on this one. We combined trip reports from several folks to form a "circular" route. From where we parked, we walked a half hour up to within an 8 minute bushwhack from Cambridge Black west peak. Fire tower artifacts on top. From there it was a fairly easy, 1-hour bushwhack along the ridge to Cambridge Black east peak. For something new, we opted to drop off to the north, aiming for the road (45 minutes). We avoided a clear cut by staying to the left and in the woods. Easy road walk back to our car.
Thank you to Zack P. and John M. for great background info. |
