Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Easy at low water levels.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Baldface Circle Trail north branch is beginning to get a little brushy, mostly with hobblebush. The last 0.2 mile to the top is steep and has some tricky spots. Both the Meader Ridge Trail and the top part of Mt. Meader Trail have places above treeline where not-quite trails look exactly like the real thing, so attention is needed to stay on trail, or backtrack to refind it. Meader Ridge Trail is a very nice trail for descent; it's about as easy as it could be considering its location.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: That last 0.2 mile of Baldface Circle north branch is very steep. It has good handholds and footholds, but you'll need to have your wits about you, four-legged and two-legged friends. It had this two-legged friend panting with fear in a few spots.
Bugs
Bugs: Not quite gone.

Comments
Comments: This route has fantastic views of the Baldfaces, Carters, Presidentials, Royces, and stuff in Maine that I'm not familiar with.
