| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was the third car in the lot, and 12 cars were spreading out up and down the road when I left. Busy day on the trail! |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
A few small easy ones. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is blazed yellow. Blazes are mostly far apart, and there are no indications when the trail is about to take a turn. Up on the ledges the blazes are faded and hard to follow. But the trail is mostly easy to follow and/or figure out. Views are amazing. Trail is steep. Lots of fun ledge walking.
There are some nice log steps that look fairly new near the start of the hike. |

| Comments: |
The lime kilns are worth the short detour; it can't be more than 10 minutes out of the way. There are many good viewpoints along the way. |
