Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I was the third car in the lot, and 12 cars were spreading out up and down the road when I left. Busy day on the trail!

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A few small easy ones.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail is blazed yellow. Blazes are mostly far apart, and there are no indications when the trail is about to take a turn. Up on the ledges the blazes are faded and hard to follow. But the trail is mostly easy to follow and/or figure out. Views are amazing. Trail is steep. Lots of fun ledge walking. There are some nice log steps that look fairly new near the start of the hike.

Comments
Comments: The lime kilns are worth the short detour; it can't be more than 10 minutes out of the way. There are many good viewpoints along the way.
