Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in excellent condition, I don't recall a single blow down to step over and just one duck under that was easy somewhere on Walden Trail. Trail blazes are faded but just numerous enough to be a healthy reminder that I am still on the trail. Good signs at intersections. Thank you WODC!

Comments
Comments: Headed up Wonalancet Range Trail and then took Short Cut and then went left on WRT and looped over Mount Wonalancet and repeated Short Cut on the way to Mount Hibbard. Not a bright sunny day but nice enough to enjoy views from ledges. Slippery ledges on WRT with nice views just above south end of Short Cut. Don't miss spur path on right just before wooded Hibbard Summit, its the nicest place. Tapped Boulder high point on Hedgehog and took the spur trail to the ledge that still makes my stomach warn me it is sloping away and is no place to linger. Gettin off Hedgehog I took my time making my way down this steep rotten trail. I took Lawrence trail all the way to Cabin Trail intersection and then backtracked to return via the Kelley Trail. Kelley Trail may have difficult footing through the gorge but it is worth it for the interesting rocks, ledges and steep tree covered slopes. The cascading brook is lovely and nearer the bottom I heard the water so I took a short bushwhack to the nice waterfalls.
