Comments
Comments: A nice loop over a wonderful small peak. The trail was generally dry but covered in slippery oak leaves making for some slow going. The footing was not too rough but still I needed to be careful not to slip on the leaves. I went up the southeast side by following the yellow/red trail along the shore of Sunset Lake and then continued up Shannon on the Yellow Tail. The summit offers excellent views from a couple of nice ledges. Descending, I took the Yellow Trail to the Northwest from the summit. The trails are a bit difficult to find from the summit area but are easily recognized once on them.
