Comments
Comments: The trail was mostly dry down low with just a few minor wet areas along the way. Up high there was less ice than there sometimes is at this time of year, so it wasn't that difficult to work around the ice, with no need for traction gear so far. The ice was white not black (no check box for white ice), varying in thickness from less than half an inch over water puddles to a little under an inch thick on and between rocks. There are some fun rock scrambles and good viewpoints on this route.
