Comments
Comments: After a full morning of continuous skiing by me and snowboarding with Becca at Bretton Woods we made a loop over Big Bickford and Scarface starting from the Skookumchuck Trailhead. We walked south on the bike path and went up the herd path (the old Skookumchuck Trail) and connected to the Skookumchuck Trial. We hiked up to about elevation 3000 feet and then began our bushwhack. Snow showers were heavy at times and we were in the snow cloud so we did not enjoy the undercast views reported from the only hiker we met all day. Nice open woods and a jar replaces the stolen canister on the summit. Equally nice whack from Bickford to Scarface. Then back by following compass east; went south of Bickford and hitting the trail just north of Jordon Brook. This was a good full day and a ton of fun to be playing in the snow.
