| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking in the 25A pull-over lot by the AT sign. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Brackett Brook was challenging due to ice on some of the rocks. The best place I found was 10 yards downstream from the Trail crossing. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in fine shape, as par with AT and DOC. I did briefly detour on my descent on an old woods road that is more prominent than the Trail, for a while. There were quite a few icy patches higher up, but no major floes and no need for traction. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
I met two dogs and three people. |

| Comments: |
Mt. Cube, Summit and North Peak
Odd to scan the panoramas north from North Peak and south and west from the Summit on December 19 and see no white. |
