Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The start of the Baldface Circle Trail to the left has a paper sign and is easy to miss. I guess I'm used to wooden signs and ignore the paper ones :-)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We saw a group with three dogs go up the South Baldface ledges. The dogs were having a tough time. Not a good idea.
Bugs
Bugs: No problems.

Comments
Comments: It was lots of fun climbing up the South Baldface ledges. This is one of the best hikes in the White Mountains with 4 miles of above-treeline hiking and affords a unique view of the Presidentials, Wildcats and Carter-Moriah range.
