| Comments: |
Did a dessert hike up Pack Monadnock after Town Line Peak, but made a spur-of-the-moment decision at the top to check out Spruce Knoll, an eastern subpeak of Pack Monadnock which, as the name implies, is wooded to the bone with shady spruce. There is a good viewpoint at the end of the trail, so IMHO this would be a good place to find some solitude if the main summit is crowded. |
