No hazards, soft footing most of the way but only one water source brook crossing) at the beginning of the trail |

This trail is in great shape. There were only a few small patches of mud. Recently brushed and trimmed on a few sections and no blowdowns. The footing is soft cushy pine needles for the first few miles with a nice gradual ascent. Just might be the quickest way up the Mt! Cold, windy with looming dark clouds at the top even though it was blue skys and warm below. |
