This was my almost 3-year old's first hike where she actually did some of the hiking. She did well, and enjoyed the ledges especially. It was probably 65/35 with her 65% of the time riding in my pack. We didn't try and reach the summit but played around on the ledges for quite awhile. We'll be back in the fall to try and make the summit. Trail is not easy to find but fortunately I've been up Roberts before. My wife had some doubts as we walked across a pasture and then walked the overgrown Carriage Rd to reach the actual trail.
