Great hike out today with a few of my buddies and saw a bunch of OH hikers. What obnoxious fucks those people are ;). Conditions were awesome wore spikes whole time no problems with so many people on the trail it was packed down well. Brought up butt sleds for the way down which turned out to be a great time and a great idea. Many people on the trail and dogs, lots of laughs and fun. Weather was upper 20's with small amount of wind. Watch out for big blowdowns about 1/3 the way and 1/2 the way up. RMC needs to take care of those. The trail should be pretty good although there was a guy riding a snowboard on the way down...how obnoxious. started at 8am ended at 3pm about a mile an hour with all of the breaks and such. Great time out. |
