	Date of Hike:	Saturday, February 6, 2016

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	West side of Rt. 302, ample space, plowed

	Surface Conditions:	Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

	Recommended Equipment:	Light Traction

	Water Crossing Notes:	several stream crossings, easily negotiated

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	the unmaintained trail from Norcross Pond to summit was easy to follow

	Dog-Related Notes:	This hike would be no problem for dogs

	Bugs:

	Lost and Found:	We saw a thermometer hanging from a branch on the way to Nancy Pond (temp at that time was a balmy 27 degrees)


	Comments:	The unmaintained trail from Norcross Pond to summit was easier to follow than I expected but also steeper than expected. There were a few slippery spots on the steepest section but manageable. It was a very nice hike and views were good. Enjoyed hiking with Larry H. Good times! We only saw one other hiker all day and he turned around at the end of Norcross Pond.
