Comments
Comments: used micros until 1/2 mile up Mt Osceola Trail and switched to crampons.
The upper sections were very icy just beneath the snow layer. The section between East Osceola and Mt Osceola had snow drifts up to 18 inches at times.
We did not use snow shoes as the drifts were sporadic for about 1/2 mile. I highly recommend full spikes for the sections from 1/2 mile up Mt Osceola trail to the peaks.
