Comments
Comments: Spikes car to car. Snowshoes came for a ride. Thought I would use the televators on Avalon steeps but was too lazy to change gear. At the S-Turn on Avalon just beyond the AZ junction was a tricky ice bulge. Ok going up. Would be difficult going down and glissading would likely ruin more than your day. Higher up before Avalon spur more ice but that was easily avoided. Glissading would be a problem anywhere below the Avalon spur. After the rain that trail is likely to be a vertical skating rink. Rest of trails great!!! Really too bad we are getting rain!! Great views in the morning. Really nice to hike some with SteveM and run into BruceP. 44 of 48.
