The section of the Martha's Mile trail near the top of Owl's Head might be a little tricky for dogs. We had to help Maggie dog down a rocky section. |

Started out early on the Cherry Mountain trail after minor difficulty finding the trailhead. Trail is well maintained. The trail is steep in parts but with very good footing. Passes some interesting old growth woods. Good views from Mt. Martha but better ones from Owl's Head. Treated to a flight display from some hawks on Mt. Martha. |
