Comments: Starting at the outlook, I walked a couple hundred yards on the road, then climbed the gaurdrail, and put on snowshoes, which stayed on. I worked my way up in snow-coated woods, making some effort to slab east as I acceded south. The woods were not bad, but at times a little thick. I was mainly only sinking 6" or so, with occasional deep stuff collecting around blowdowns and small trees. I hit the ridge and reached the bump just to the west of the summit. I did some circling around in the off chance that I had slabbed enough to be at the top. From there, I bushwhacked east in open woods to the highpoint. The previous log book is gone.

While following my tracks out, I was startled by Old Man with the Saw. Great to meet him again. He had come up from closer to the pass. I chose to follow my own tracks out, although his would have been just as well. On the way out, I snapped the nose on a snowshoe; unfortunate, but at least I did not have far to go with it...hopeful for a warranty replacement from MSR.
