Comments
Comments: Certainly did NOT feel like winter today! Trail mostly clear, some icy patches down low at the start, and a few up high, none requiring traction (spikes got a free ride today). Trail is ~95% snow/ice free, though the wet rocks higher up made for some slippery footing. Hiked in trail runners, and got down to shorts and a t-shirt, exceedingly comfortable! Saw two others descending as I ascended, had the summit to myself, and spent a while soaking in the views and the warmth. No trip to any of the Moats is complete without a trip to the Moat after!
