Comments
Comments: Road walk was dry, snow and ice free. Started with frozen mud and dry trails. A few patches of minor mud here and there. The trails are very icy on the upper half of the mountain until it gets out in the open on the ledges. I used Microspikes on the way up and still had to go off trail quite a bit to get around the large ice flows. Some may want full crampons and even an ice axe at times if you don't want to bushwhack around the ice. Coming down the Barlow Trail, I managed without traction but spent more time off trail than on.
