Comments
Comments: Straightback Mountain Trail was generally dry trail with some minor mud and a dusting of snow in places.
Anna-Straightback Link to Marsh Crossing had a dusting of snow.
Marsh Crossing Trail heads northbound from Anna-Straightback Link about 0.65 mile west of Straightback. There is not a sign at the junction (a marsh is visible to the north), but there are yellow blazes, and there is a sign once on the trail. Trail was slightly more than a third of a mile; generally dry and tame, but there are some steeper ledges on the north end of it, which pops onto the Quarry Trail at the West Quarry sign (which is not the actual highpoint of the peak).
Quarry Trail between the Quarry Peaks had some ice hidden under a dusting of snow, but not enough to warrant traction.
All told, the loop was just under 6 miles.
