Comments
Comments: After a morning of skiing Cannon (and I visited Bwoods earlier) Becca and I decided to take a quick hike up the AT via Kinsman Notch Trail from Kinsman Notch. We ended up going all the way to Blue Ridge North Peak, elevation 3009'. We went up the steep section from the Notch barebooting on the bare rocks surrounded by the ice flows. Somewhere past intersection of Dilly Trail we put on our micro-spikes--since there was now enough snow and ice to need them. Pretty woods, nobody around and we enjoyed the outlooks along the way over town of Lincoln and Franconia Ridge. 3009' summit is just west of KNT, very short bushwhack to summit bump. Fun late afternoon outing.
