Comments
Comments: This was a northbound traverse of the Wapack Trail- unexpectedly nice scenery along the ridge near New Ipswich Mountain. Well-defined footway; yellow triangles abounded for most of the hike. Only tricky sections were finding the northbound trail after leaving Windblown, and covering a bit of extracurricular mileage near the base of Temple Mountain. There was patchy ice cover, particularly north of NH 101, but it was avoidable with careful foot placement- not quite enough to warrant microspikes.
