Comments
Comments: Weather was cool with a slight breeze. Perfect weather ( for me at least ) to hike in. Just cool enough that you don't overheat when hiking and not so cold that you freeze your butt off. Started out on the Parker trail and took a right on the lost farm trail then on to the cliff walk. The trail was clear until some of the upper areas of the cliff walk where there was some ice on the rock ( all avoidable ) crampons or micros would be over kill. I carried them but never used them. White cross / Dot was a little wetter than in the summer but not a problem at all. The summit was surprisingly not too windy as well. The first people I saw was when I summited which is an amazing feat when it comes to Monadnock. The views were awesome and you could see the skyline of Boston. Mt Wachusett looked close enough to touch. Super clear 360 degree views today
