Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Davis Path: a few large blow-downs, mostly between Stairs and Isolation. Between Stairs and Iso was extremely wet and snowy. We spent the day with completely soaked feet. Crawford Path: Some water in the trails. It's very wet all over the range. No real snow or ice to speak of all the way to Pierce, aside from some very stable monorail from the bottom of the Eisenhower-Pierce col to the summit of Pierce. W-J: Stable monorail the whole way. Never got my feet wet, and spikes were enough for traction. Jackson Branch: Icy and wet. Used spikes. Quite a bit of mud where there isn't ice. Can't wait for summer.
