Comments
Comments: D and I went "south" today to avoid the ice and snow. We found no ice, thank goodness, but there was much more snow there than up here in Berlin/Bethel, 4-5" at the pond. Still, it was a fun hike. The pond is very beautiful. Two of the stream crossings required care due to the long "hops" between rocks that were covered with snow. The 2 1/2 mile road walk wasn't the best part of the day, but much better than driving two cars.
