Trail is clear of ice until about 1/2 mile past the Bald Peak Spur. Then it's melty ice flows most of the way to the ridge. We wore Hillsound spikes which were adequate for us. Kept spikes on for ~2/3 of the ridge walk to N&S Kinsman. Some slushy sections this day.
