Comments
Comments: The weather conditions were quite windy and much cooler than you might think. Very windy at the summits of both Black and Sandwich Dome. Gusts of 30 or 40 mph is my guess. Wind chills made the 50 deg temps feel more like 30's. I had to wear a coat and even gloves. The summit of Sandwich Dome was socked in when I got there but the sun did break through after a while offering great long views. The trail was in great shape although wet and slippery near the summit due to fog.
