Parking/Access Road Notes: No vehicles at the Mount Langdon trailhead when I got there mid-afternoon.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are many blowdowns, deadfalls, etc. on the Mount Parker Trail between Resolution and Parker. It looks like this area has been hit hard in the past as there is evidence of prior maintenance along the way also. The path on the slabs on Resolution may not be obvious at times but there are worn yellow blazes on the rocks to help you along - if you can find them.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any.
Bugs
Bugs: Extremely annoying most of the day - so much so I didn't bother staying on the Parker summit too long opting to keep moving. Such a pity.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: After waking up on Stairs Mountain I descended the Davis Path and ascended the Mount Parker Trail to Resolution. The slabs on this mountain are wonderful for views though may be occasionally difficult to navigate. Once descending Resolution to Parker the footing is by and large very nice despite the many felled trees and limbs. No major issues descending to and then through the Mount Langdon Trail. The Cave Mountain Path on the other hand is not only steep and rough at points nearing the cave but is also covered in leaves and loose beyond it. IMO it is hazardous - especially to descend - and as such I didn't bother going to the top.

If you need water on this route you can get it at the former Resolution Shelter site on the Davis Path side and just beyond the Wilderness sign a mile in from the road on the Mount Langdon Trail where the brook is running well. It can also be had at the Langdon Shelter however that brook isn't running nearly as well.

I didn't see anyone on this route today. Of course given the area and the fact it's mid-week I would have put the over/under at 1 and taken the under. Thankfully the clouds started coming in as I was finishing my hike. Definitely a fun trek on some off the beaten paths - Cave Mountain aside.
